The name Peregrina carries three layers of meaning. In Latin, it translates simply to “female traveler,” honouring women who have always charted their own path. It also evokes the Peregrine Falcon, whose female is known to be larger, stronger, and more powerful than her male counterpart. Finally, it recalls the legendary Peregrina Pearl, passed down among queens, treasured for its rarity, and symbolic of journeys that transcend generations.
We're launching The Peregrina Society in 2026 as an homage to this ethos, with the goal of reviving the old-world salon in gorgeous locations around the world.
